to the Colorado AFG Website

The latest member survey indicates that 40% of members were influenced by a professional to attend their first Al-Anon meeting. Al-Anon and Alateen meetings are compatible with all types of counseling and medical treatment.

Al-Anon's Purpose  is to help friends and families of alcoholics recover from the effects of living with the problem drinking of a relative or friend. Our focus is on ourselves, not the alcoholic. The only requirement for membership is that there be a problem of alcoholism with a friend or relative.  There are no dues or fees.

 We encourage you to browse our website for information about the Al-Anon program in Colorado and worldwide. The Frequently Asked Questions list may be helpful when referring people to Al-Anon. In Colorado, if you have questions, please contact the Cooperating with Professional Community (CPC) or Public Information (PI) coordinators for Al-Anon/Alateen in Colorado by electronic mail.
